Peanut's Good Looks...

So many people say how Peanut looks like me or looks like Jeremy...this past weekend, they all thought he looks like him. He really looks like my dad...seriously! So, we named him appropriately.

And he wanted everyone to know...Good Looks Run in the Family! :)

Devoted with Candace

Last week the beautiful and talented Candace Cameron was at First Baptist Atlanta and I got to hear her testimony. It is incredible and she was so open...it was awesome! Here is a picture of her, Linda Cloer and myself. Linda has been a spiritual leader in my life for many years, so this picture means the world to me...

Consignment Weekend and Grandma's

Last Friday was consignment weekend and though I didn't do as well as I thought I would, I bought Boo big 5 year old clothes!!! He had NOTHING for Fall...not a one shirt, so I racked up some of those and some nice pants as well. He had 5 pair of jeans already, so I think he will be okay through Fall and Winter. Unless of course he gains 10 pounds and grows 5 inches, then, my friends, we are in TROUBLE! :)
At least Peanut will be able to wear some of the clothes in a few years...ahh the joys of hand me downs...never experienced that as a child.

Here is Boo wearing his "new" favorite shirt that I got him at the sale...it was my best find, seeing as we are going to the Magical Place next year...

Here is Peanut chillin' on Grandma's couch...

Enjoy!!

Soccer!!!

We took up soccer this season, so here is Boo at his first practice...

They played a little scrimage, so he wore a yellow jersey shirt, and thought that was cool!

And you can see that Peanut was enjoying himself too, yep, right into a little nap...

7 weeks

ahhh, all you moms and dads know the feeling...accomplishment. I never dreamed that in a week things would change so much, or maybe I did dream it, and now it's reality! Praise God!!

Peanut started going 6-7 hours between feedings at night and last night he went 8 hours! Now, I would have gotten about 7 hours if Jeremy had not been at the Tech game last night and he got home at midnight and spent the next hour recapping the day, since we hadn't seen each other all day...none the less, I still feel rested. He woke up at 5:45 and took a bottle and then went right back to sleep...yippie! This mommy is not ready to start her day at 5:45 just yet. His normal wake time is 7-730, so obviously that got pushed back to 8:30 today...which hm, won't quite work for the daily routine, but we can adjust that.

Speaking of accomplishment, I vacuumed the whole house yesterday...it normally gets vacuumed in spurts - one side of the house one day, the other side of the house another day - so this was like a BIG DEAL!

Here are some pictures of our first smiles...

And he's on his way to giving us the famous "Burdette brows"

Enjoy!
